Abortion

You may be considering abortion as a solution to your unplanned pregnancy. Before visiting an abortion clinic, consider the following:

  • Do I qualify for an abortion?
  • What kind of abortion am I eligible for?
  • What are the risks associated with abortion procedures?

At Options for Women, you’ll receive education about abortion and have all of your questions answered by one of our trained staff members.

Parenting

The decision to parent can be a daunting one, even for those who have planned for their pregnancies. You may be uncertain about parenting because of any of the following reasons:

  • Your parent(s) or the father is unsupportive
  • You are worried about how your family might react
  • Your main priority is school and/or work
  • You don’t consider yourself financially stable enough to support a child
  • You don’t feel mature enough to become a parent

Options for Women has a number of parenting resources for those who are concerned for any of these reasons.

Adoption

The adoption process has changed a lot over the last few decades, and it is possible to be a part of your child’s life even after adoption. Choosing adoption can provide a nurturing, loving home for your child, and could be right for you for any of the following reasons:

  • You do not want to have an abortion but also don’t want to parent
  • Your partner is not involved and you want a two-parent environment for your child
  • You are not financially secure
  • You don’t have the emotional capacity a child would require

Choosing adoption can provide a family with a wonderful gift. Options for Women is happy to discuss this and each of the other options with you.

May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.
